Organised Bollocks

If credulous numpties will insist on plucking nonsensical bollocks from their bottoms and inflicting it on the world, let's at least try and classify it in to some sort of sensible taxonomy.

The Periodic Table of Irrational Nonsense was initially published on the 16th July 2010.

The idea came to me on the train on the way home from work when I noticed a tweet from an obnoxious clown for a periodic table of cheeses. It seemed like a suitable method for also organising irrational nonsense so I cobbled the initial version together that night while the wife was watching Midsommer Murders.

The post was very successful and I was sent several translations in various languages. I also revisited the idea myself and updated it to include an interactive version and a centrefold poster for the Skeptic magazinse. The various versions are included in the gallery below.
